What to do?

Hello again World. Yeah I know I published something only a couple of days ago, and that I don’t really need to make another contribution to the blog in at least a couple of weeks, but still, here’s another entry for you.  As I wrote in one of my earlier entries, I’m starting military service in January.  For an entire year I’m going to work as a “whateverweneedyoufor” for my King. However, it’s only a year, so after that year is done I need to do something else. So what should I do after the year in green is over? Since I’m joining the force in January I’ll be done around the next January (2011). The study I’m going to apply for doesn’t start up until August, so that leaves me with eight months to do whatever I feel for.  As of now I guess I’m going to work for eight months, and try to save up as much cash as possible so I can live a little more comfortable than other students.  I’ve also been thinking about hiking to China or the moon. Still, nothing is decided yet, so I got to come up with something meaningful to do for those eight months.

So you have decided on what to study? And where? Assuming you still want to study law, it's easier getting in here in Tromsø, and the exams are nicer. You still need a 5,1 to get in, if I remember things correctly - means you might get something to do between the army and starting studies.

If I got things right, they only have exams once a year up here, but in the entire curriculum and it consists of a home exam (hand-in style) and a smaller written exam. Or was it oral? In Oslo, it's harder getting in and they have exams twice a year instead. Don't know about Bergen. You should check these things for yourself, though - I only talked to a girl who studies it for five minutes in the kitchen.

Oh, and if you move here, we'll have a ton of fun!

I think I'm heading West to be honest. The way they do stuff in Bergen seems more appealing than how it's done in Oslo and Tromsø. But, if I for some reason find out that I'm not going to study in Bergen, I'll sure head North.

Yes, going to study law.

I might be joining you there ;) Currently, I'm considering a Bachelor's degree in Politics and a Master's degree in law... Which is one heck of an education, although long, expensive and difficult. Don't like people in Bergen though - they speak ugly, weird and annoying.

w00t that's impressive if you go trough with it.

I know, people from Bergen are quite "special".
